Context
Dia is the AI browser from The Browser Company, the New York team behind Arc. Instead of copying things into a chatbot, you ask the browser itself: it reads what's open, works across your tabs and brings tools like search and writing right into the window.
I made this launch film as a self-initiated concept. Dia's main feature is that it feels effortless, which is exactly the hardest thing to show. The goal: get the idea of asking your browser across in a few seconds, and show how much of it you can make your own.

Key design moments
Moment 01
No voiceover
The obvious route was a narrator walking through the features. I cut it. Dia's whole promise is that it feels effortless, and explaining effortless with a voice sounds like a manual. Instead the interface carries the story: the ask bar lights up, answers build line by line, and easing and timing do the talking.
Moment 02
Giving personalisation its own beat
In a 15-second film every beat is expensive, and the core moves (ask, tabs, tools) already fill most of it. I still gave themes a full beat of their own, “Match your mood”, because the personal part is what makes people switch browsers, not one more feature.
04
Impact
It's a concept, so there are no campaign numbers. What it proves is the brief most SaaS launch films have: a feature-heavy AI product, explained in 15 seconds without a spoken word.
05
Reflections
Cutting the voiceover forced every animation to earn its place. When motion has to carry the meaning, you see immediately which moves are just decoration.
